Day 1:
Arrival in Arkhangelsk. Meeting at the airport “Talagi”.
Transfer to the city. Accommodation in the hotel.
Lunch. Excursion: “Arkhangelsk – the Gates of the Arctic”. City tour “Arkhangelsk – the Gates of the Arctic». You will see the territory of one of the famous Russian cities which is the first trade sea port.
Excursion introduces the four-century history of the sea city, its diversity and main sights. Transfer to the airport «Vaskovo».
Departure to the Solovetsky Islands. (50 minutes) Arrival. Transfer to the hotel “Solovki Sloboda”.
Accommodation. Lunch.
Sightseeing tour to the Solovetsky Monastery. Walking tour (for 3 hours) acquaints visitors with the history of the Solovetsky Monastery. Tourists will visit the area of the central complex of the Monastery temples, which are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Dinner. You will participate in master class “Fish in the north” – everyone will be able to take part in the preparation and tasting of the traditional northern fish (like cod, salmon, halibut).

Day 2:
Breakfast. Excursion to Mount Sekirnaya. Tourists will visit one of the highest points of the Bolshoi Solovetsky Island – Mount Sekirnaya, from the top of which you can enjoy an unforgettable view of the northern part of the Big Solovetsky Island and the White Sea. Tourists will have an opportunity to discover the history and monuments of the Holy Ascension monastery, where at the time of the Solovki camp was an isolation ward.
Excursion «Botanical Garden – Makarevskaya Pustin.” Tourists will visit one of the most northerly located botanical gardens in Russia, which is located in the former Makarevskoy Pustin. They will enjoy the amazing view of the ensemble of the Solovetsky Monastery and view from the Alexander hill.
Lunch. After that a walking tour “History of Solovki Camp from 1923-1939 years”. During this tour, visitors will learn about the Solovki prison camp and hear about the fate of prisoners. Dinner.

Day 3:
Breakfast. Excursion “prehistoric archeology of Solovki», where tourists learn about the largest of the pagan sanctuary of II-I millennium BC and archaeological monuments of Solovki.
Lunch. Shuttle to airport and flight to Arkhangelsk.
Arrival. Transfer to the city of Arkhangelsk. Excursion to Gostinniye Dvori – the oldest trade and fortification building in Arkhangelsk.

Day 4:
Breakfast. Departure to the open-air museum of wooden architecture in Small Korely.
Excursion “Wooden architecture of the North». During the tour, you will get acquainted with the Russian wooden architecture of XVII-XIX centuries, know more about extraordinary gifted and talented northern masters. Master class in folk artisctic craft.
Lunch. Visit the “Pomorye Stuff” souvenir shop.
Transfer to the airport.
