Irkutsk - Listvyanka – CircumBaikal railway – Peschanaya Bay – the Small sea – island Olkhon – p. Ust-Orda – Irkutsk

Day 1: Listvyanka

Welcome to Irkutsk – “Gate to Baikal”. Meeting with English speaking guide

Transfer to Listvyanka. On the way we visit the Baikal Museum. Baikal Limnological Museum – one of the three existing lake museums in the world and the only one in Russia.

Сlimb to the top of the Chersky stone (in the village Listvyanka, height of 755m), to get fascinating panoramic view to the lake.

Visit the Architectural and ethnographic Museum “Taltsy”. Architectural-ethnographic Museum “Taltsy” is a unique collection of monuments of history, architecture and Ethnography of the XVII-XX centuries.

Transfer to hotel. Night in Listvyanka.

Day 2: Circum-Baikal railway
Breakfast. On the hovercraft-Hivus we go to Circum-Baikal railway.

Meeting with Siberian dogs – husky. You can have plenty of cuddling with these furry friends and take great pictures. Transfer to hotel.

Day 3: Sandy Bay, Small sea
Breakfast.

Visit the Small sea. We see the Sandy Bay. Here you can find the famous “stilted trees” – their mighty roots are exposed because of the constant winds and waters.

We see picturesque rocks and banks. Also, we can see the transparent Baikal ice.

We have picnic on the beach.
Transfer to Small sea. Dinner.
Night on Baikal.

Day 4: Small sea Islands
Breakfast.

We will conquer the Baikal ice expanses of the Small sea. We find pure ice, fabulous ice grottoes and frosty Baikal wind.

The tour will take place on Hivus. Right on the ice, we will arrange a real bar with tasting of local drinks.

Picnic during the tour.

Visiting to Ogoy island – the largest island of the Small Sea. We see a sacred Buddhist Stupa that was built on the island in 2005.

Return to hotel. Dinner. Night on Baikal.

Day 5: Olkhon Island
Breakfast.

We visit heart of lake Baikal – Olkhon island.

Visiting the village of Khuzhir, see the famous Shamanka rock (Cape Burhan) and get acquainted with the life of the village.

We will also taste the national Buryat dish – buzy. After lunch we go to the northernmost point – Cape Hoboy.

In the evening, return to the recreation center. Dinner.
Night on Baikal.

Day 6: Irkutsk
Breakfast. Transfer to Irkutsk (240 km). On the way to Irkutsk we have lunch in the ethno-Park “Golden Horde”.

Master class on modeling buuz. We taste national Buryat dishes and drinks.

Arrival to Irkutsk. City tour.

Night in Irkutsk.
