DAY 3: ST. PETERSBURG

It is one of the most beautiful imperial residences, Catherine’s Palace, whose name is dedicated to the wife of Peter the Great, Catherine I. It was a favorite place of Catherine II the Great, with its incomparable Amber Room, entirely covered with Baltic Amber.
