It is possible to exchange currency at any bank without problems.

Limitations:

VISA and MASTERCARD issued in foreign countries do not work within Russia. For this reason, payments within the country must be made in cash.
Only 7 banks are affected by the sanctions that exclude them from the SWIFT system. The rest of the banks do not have any restrictions.
At the moment social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tik Tok only work using a VPN. Communication applications such as Telegram and Whatsapp work normally.

Turkmenistan is famous for the most delicious melons, cotton and carpets. In 2001 there was weaved the biggest carpet in the world with the area of 301 square meters. This event was recorded in the Guinness record book. And in the capital of Turkmenistan Ashgabat there is the only one in the world Museum of carpets.

In 2013 the country again turned to be an occasion for the Guinness record book: Ashgabat became the most white-marble city in the world (543 new building coated with white marble).
